Fluvanna Students Travel Training Session

PATH has continued to work with the transition coordinator, teachers, and students in the special education class at Fluvanna County High School. The students practiced the skills needed to use Jaunt, created user ID’s, and called Jaunt to make a reservation.

Recently, several members of the class, and their teacher, took a Jaunt bus from the high school to Walmart. They familiarized themselves with riding the bus, and discussed where they would like to go when they are able to use public transportation on their own.

PATH will continue to offer travel training to this and future classes.  Many thanks to Jaunt for coordinating their practice ride, and to Fluvanna County High School for inviting PATH to talk about transportation with their students.
