Nelson Community Health Fair Coming to Arrington This July

Charlottesville Area Transit provides public transportation in the City of Charlottesville and urban parts of Albemarle County. Wheelchair accessible and FARE-FREE.

MICRO CAT

MicroCAT is an on-demand public rideshare service that offers rides in Pantops and the US-29 Corridor area. Wheelchair accessible & FARE-FREE.

JAUNT

Jaunt offers curb-to-curb service in Buckingham, Fluvanna, Louisa, Greene, Nelson, and rural Albemarle counties. Also, provides ADA paratransit in Charlottesville and urban Albemarle County. Wheelchair accessible & FARE-FREE.

UTS

University Transit Service provides transportation for students, faculty, staff, and visitors within the University of Virginia (UVA) campus and is open to the public. FARE-FREE.

AFTON EXPRESS

A bus service operated by BRITE connects Charlottesville with Staunton via Waynesboro and Fishersville.

FOOTHILLS EXPRESS

A bus service operated by Virginia Regional Transit connects Charlottesville with Ruckersville, Madison, and Culpeper.

VIRGINIA BREEZE

Virginia Breeze is an intercity bus service connecting communities across the state with major destinations including Washington, D.C., Richmond, and Virginia Beach.

GREYHOUND

Greyhound is the largest intercity bus transportation provider in the U.S., operating a network that connects over 1,600 destinations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

AMTRAK

Amtrak is a national railroad company offering intercity service to over 500 destinations across USA and Canada, covering more than 21,400 miles of routes.

About PATH helpline

PATH, Partnership for Accessible Transportation Help, is a free transportation information and referral service open to the public. PATH assists anyone with inquiries about local transportation, with a focus on helping older adults and people with disabilities find transportation options when they are unable to drive.

PATH serves Region 10, including the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson counties.

PATH covers the City of Charlottesville, and Albemarle, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Fluvanna counties. We may be able to help you find a ride outside of Region 10.

Everyone can ride! This service is for anyone with questions about local transportation, focusing on helping older adults and people with disabilities find rides.
We have interpreter services and materials in Spanish.

How Does PATH Work?

PATH works with existing transportation services to unify all public transportation services into a central information hub. The goal is to develop a transportation network and promote use of public transportation.
