Jaunt provides 3 types of services:

1) Curb-to-curb demand-response service in the counties of Buckingham, Fluvanna, Louisa, Greene, Nelson, and rural Albemarle. This service requires prior reservation.

2) Fixed-route commuter service to UVA and downtown Charlottesville from Crozet, 29 North, Buckingham, and Lovingston. Reservations are not required to ride, just show up at the advertised stop and time.

3) ADA paratransit service in the City of Charlottesville and urban Albemarle. You must be pre-approved by a representative from CAT to use Jaunt’s ADA Paratransit Service.


 

How do I make a reservation on Jaunt?

Reservations are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you’re a first-time rider, please call our friendly and courteous reservationists at
(434) 296-3184 and choose option 1.

They can set you up in our data system, answer your questions and give you helpful tips. Reservations are required at least 24-hours, or up to one week in advance.

A PATH counselor can help you apply for Jaunt’s ADA service and once approved, schedule your first ride or help with reservations.
