Residents of Nelson County and the surrounding area are invited to attend the upcoming Nelson Community Health Fair on July 18. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will offer a variety of health services, educational resources, and community activities for local families.
Organized by the Blue Ridge Medical Center, the fair will include sports physicals and immunizations for Nelson County students, including HPV, Tdap, and Meningococcal 4 vaccines. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with local organizations, explore community resources, and participate in health education activities. PATH will also be present, providing information on local transportation services.
Location: Tye River Elementary School, located at 5198 Thomas Nelson Highway in Arrington.
