On Friday, February 13th, PATH hosted a Transportation Solutions Workshop at the Westhaven Recreation Center in partnership with the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA). The workshop was designed specifically for participants in CRHA’s Jobs Plus Initiative, a program that strengthens employment outcomes through locally driven, job-centered strategies.
The Jobs Plus Initiative supports public housing residents by promoting workforce readiness, connecting participants with employers, assisting with job placement, and encouraging educational growth, digital skills development, and financial stability. During the workshop, attendees received practical guidance on identifying and navigating transportation options available throughout Region 10.
PATH and the CRHA Jobs Plus Initiative look forward to continuing this collaboration and plan to offer additional transportation workshops later this year.
