PATH congratulates our partners at Jaunt on an impressive milestone – 50 years of connecting people and communities across Central Virginia.
On September 30, Jaunt celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Hillsdale Conference Center in Charlottesville. Employees, board members, elected officials, community partners, and supporters gathered to recognize five decades of service and look toward the organization’s future.
Since beginning service in 1975, Jaunt has grown from a small transportation program into a regional public transit provider serving communities throughout Central Virginia. While its services have evolved over the years, its mission has remained focused on helping people stay connected, maintain their independence, and reach essential destinations.
The anniversary celebration also introduced Jaunt’s refreshed visual identity, reflecting its continued commitment to service, connection, and care.
For many riders, transportation means much more than getting from one place to another. It provides access to healthcare, employment, shopping, family, friends, and other essential opportunities.
As a partner working alongside Jaunt to improve transportation access in our region, PATH is proud to congratulate the entire Jaunt team on 50 years of service to Central Virginia.
