PATH hosted a Transportation Solutions Workshop at The Crossing community in Charlottesville, specifically designed for individuals transitioning out of homelessness.
The event aimed to address the unique mobility challenges faced by this population and to support their efforts toward greater stability and independence. During the session, participants received practical information about the full range of transportation services available in Charlottesville and the urban areas of Albemarle County, including public transit options, specialized transportation programs, and resources for accessing essential services such as medical appointments, employment, and social support.
The workshop also provided an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, share their experiences, and connect directly with PATH staff to discuss individual transportation needs and potential solutions.
