Jaunt Relocates 29 North CONNECT Bus Stop to Improve Rider Convenience

Beginning Monday, August 3, 2026, Jaunt riders using the 29 North CONNECT route will board and exit at a new location in Hollymead. The move is designed to provide easier access, improved amenities, and a more comfortable experience for commuters.

The bus stop, currently located at the Food Lion in Hollymead, will relocate to Hollymead Town Center near Kohl’s, adjacent to First Free Coffee at 340 Towncenter Lane, Suite 100, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
The new stop offers several rider-friendly improvements, including convenient commuter parking, bench seating, and easy access to shops and businesses within Hollymead Town Center.

Passengers should continue using the current Food Lion stop through Friday, July 31, and begin using the new location starting Monday, August 3. A route map included with the announcement shows the updated stop location within Hollymead Town Center, making it easier for riders to find the new boarding point.

The 29 North CONNECT service is part of Jaunt’s regional transportation network, helping connect residents to employment, healthcare, education, shopping, and other essential destinations throughout Central Virginia.
