The Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC) is inviting families, caregivers, and community members to participate in its upcoming Quarterly Special Education (SPED) Workshop Series, a set of virtual trainings beginning in January 2026.
The PEATC SPED Series is designed to help families better understand special education processes, student rights, and practical tools that support children and youth as they prepare for further education, employment, and independent living. The workshops aim to empower participants with knowledge while encouraging strong partnerships among families, educators, and service providers.
Each session focuses on a key aspect of special education and provides opportunities to build skills, ask questions, and gain clarity on complex topics. The sessions will be held live and will not be recorded.
